Cambridge Stole: A Cambridge student must meet the following criteria in order to wear a Cambridge Stole at Commencement. Qualify for the Grand Canyon High School Diploma AND/OR
- be a senior who completes a full Cambridge course (Ex. AS Econ, AS Global Perspectives, AS Literature, AS Language, AS or A Physics, AS Mathematics, AS General Paper)
- have 3 or more years in Cambridge (with at least 6 Cambridge classes on transcript)
- be in good academic standing (No Ds or Fs in Cambridge classes)
- sit for at least one exam for three years
CTE Program Cords: To earn a CTE Program Cord, students must complete and pass the required number of courses/credits to be a program completer in each CTE program as determined by the Arizona Department of Education.
CTSO Cords/Stoles: Each Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) is responsible for outlining the requirements for CTSO cords and stoles within their CTSO bylaws. Each CTSO has different cord and stole requirements that may change annually as these are student led organizations. If a student has questions about CTSO cords, the student should talk to their CTSO advisor. CTSO Cords/Stoles will be awarded at an event planned by the CTSO.
TSA Cord: To earn a TSA Cord, students must be a program completer and successfully pass the Technical Skills Assessment within the prospective program.
WAVE Cord: To earn a WAVE Cord, students must complete a program with WAVE through their central programs or their MCC CTE programs.
